BeatKing's tragic death leaves social media users devastated

Recently, popular Houston rapper and producer BeatKing passed away at the age of 39. His manager Tasha Felder confirmed the tragic news in an Instagram post yesterday, writing a heartfelt message about the devastating loss. “Today, August 15th, 2024, we lost @clubgodzilla,” she began. “Beatking was the best part of the club for over a decade. He produced and worked with so many artists that his sound will live on forever. He loved his daughters @clubgodparenting, his music, and his fans. We will love him forever.”

Initially, BeatKing’s cause of death was unknown, but a spokesman said TMZ today that he died of a pulmonary embolism. He reportedly hosted a takeover on Radio One when he fainted. The artist was immediately taken to hospital, but later died surrounded by his two daughters.

Bun B also posted a heartfelt message about the loss yesterday.

“It's always the good ones,” it begins. “Damn this hurts so much. Just an amazing, spirited human being. We lost a talented artist and father. Prayers for @talameshia and his loved ones. RIP @clubgodzilla.” Countless others are speaking out for X, looking back on his life and sending his family well as they get through this difficult time.
