On the anniversary of the Inflation Reduction Act, the Trump-Vance ticket is pursuing a Project 2025 agenda to undermine landmark legislation

Donald Trump and JD Vance's agenda “Project 2025” calls for the undermining of the Inflation Reduction Act. On the second anniversary of the IRA DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd issued the following statement:

“If Donald Trump and JD Vance get their way, they will implement their Agenda 2025 to gut the Anti-Inflation Act and undo the historic progress made thanks to President Biden and Vice President Harris. The Trump-Vance team is firmly opposed to cost-cutting and tackling the climate crisis – it is an extreme and out-of-touch agenda that will be a flop at the ballot box in November.”

Donald Trump and JD Vance are vehemently opposed to the Inflation Reduction Act, and their “Project 2025” calls for the repeal of this landmark law.

Business Insider: “Former President Donald Trump criticized the climate, health and tax law introduced by the Democrats on Fridayand argued that Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky had been 'screwed' by Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia.”

Vance: “The left attacked Donald Trump for these tax cuts, saying they would worsen the deficit In reality, we raised revenues because the government retreated from regulation and the tax cuts generated strong growth, which meant more people worked, which led to higher production and a healthier economy overall… I think we have a pretty sensible regulatory and tax agenda.”

Trump and Vance's Project 2025 plan to undermine the IRA would undo the largest U.S. investment ever in combating climate change, which helps create jobs in clean energy.

While the IRA is lowering the cost of prescription drugs, Trump and Vance's Project 2025 and extreme Republicans in Congress threaten to undo the progress made and deprive millions of Americans of access to affordable health care.
