The Livingston County Sheriff's Department reports arrests and incidents

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department has released the following incident reports and arrest details:

Incident reports

3 August
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle traveling 91 mph in a 65 mph zone on Highway 36 near LIV 249. The vehicle fled south from Highway 36 onto LIV 251 and eventually crashed into a ditch on LIV 240. The investigation led to the arrest of Lane McCoy, 18, of Chillicothe, for resisting arrest and endangering the welfare of a child, as a minor was found in the vehicle at the time. McCoy was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center and a warrant was issued by the Livingston County Court.

11 August
The LCSO responded to a reported attempted kidnapping in 3rd Street Bottoms. The investigation determined that the incident was a prank perpetrated by juveniles. The juveniles and their parents were educated on the seriousness of false reporting of such incidents.

14 August
The LCSO took a report of a possible social media scam. The reporter shared explicit images with an unknown individual, who then threatened to extort the reporter if he did not send $300. The unknown individual was subsequently blocked and the reporter requested that a report be kept on file.

15.August
Officers responded to the 3000 block of LIV 408 in Mooresville where an individual was in crisis. Officers were able to contact the individual, who appeared to be OK. A report was created to direct the individual to further resources and assistance.

15.August
The LCSO received a report of a stolen vehicle from the 10000 block of LIV 271 in Wheeling. The keys to the vehicle, a black Pontiac Grand Prix with front-end damage (Missouri license plate JK2Z0S), were reportedly left on the front seat. The investigation is ongoing.

Arrests

11 August
Nathan Nozime, 34, of Brookfield was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Highway 65 near Highway 36. Nozime was arrested and released on a summons to appear in Livingston District Court.

12 August
Elinor Lopez, 55, of Chillicothe, was arrested in the 500 block of Jackson Street in Chillicothe on a Livingston County warrant for first-degree harassment. Lopez was unable to post $5,000 bail and was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center to await a court date in case number 24LV-CR00395.

Christy Cullen, 58, of Mooresville, received a citation for driving 82 mph in a 65 mph zone on Highway 36 at the corner of Highway 65.

3 August
Lynsie Vanderheide, 35, of Illinois, was ticketed for driving 85 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone on Highway 36 at the corner of LIV 261.

7 August
Christopher Brannam, 42, of Mooresville, was issued a citation for driving 101 mph in a 60 mph zone on Highway 65 near LIV 206.

Sarah Pegelow, 25, of Chillicothe was ticketed for driving 87 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone on Highway 36 near LIV 403.

13 August
Ernest Trammell, 48, of Indiana, received a citation for driving 83 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone on Highway 36 near LIV 255.

Samuel Willig, 22, of Kansas City was issued a citation for driving 85 mph in a 65 mph zone on Highway 36 near LIV 255.

13 August
Daniel Gebray, 43, of Texas, received a citation for driving 83 mph in a 65 mph zone on Highway 36 near the Linn-Livingston County line.
