Goldie Hawn's little grandson shows off long blonde hair in selfie with famous mother

Goldie Hawn is the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren and they are growing up fast!

The star's youngest son, Wyatt Russell, is a doting father to two young children – Buddy, three, and Boone, six months – who he has with actress Meredith Hagner. And on Friday, they stole the show in a new selfie with their famous mom!

While protective parents always cover their children's faces to protect their privacy, Buddy looked adorable with his cute long blonde locks as he sat with his mother and little brother and ate a cake.

Meredith captioned the photo: “Happy with my craziness!” along with a heart emoji.

Buddy and Boone live near their famous grandmother and grandfather, Kurt Russell, and they seem to have a very sweet bond.

Meredith spoke fondly of Kurt and Goldie in an interview with US Weekly this week, telling the publication, “Oh, they're the best. They're just the greatest people, the greatest grandparents.”

The actress continued: “They live down the street from us, so it's like their second home to my son. They have a cookie jar that's always full and my son knows where it is, and they have a toy box that's always full to the brim with toys.”

She added that Goldie and Kurt are incredibly down to earth despite their worldwide fame. “What always impressed me when I met them was how normal they are, as if within five seconds you forget [how famous they are],” she said.

In a rare interview with Entertainment Weekly shortly after the birth of his eldest son, Buddy, Wyatt spoke about fatherhood and also gave a rare insight into his famous parents' grandparents.

He said: “Starting with my brother or sister's first child, they are called Gogo and Gogi. The wine my father makes is called Gogi because his nickname in life was Gogi, and my mother's nickname in life was Gogo. That's what the children call them.”

In addition to Buddy and Boone, Goldie and Kurt are proud grandparents of the three children of Oliver Hudson and his wife Erinn, as well as the three children of Kate Hudson.

For the award-winning actress, nothing is more beautiful than being a grandmother. In an interview with Australian Women's Weekly, she gave rare insights into her family life away from the spotlight.

She said: “A good family is the key to happiness. When I look at our children and grandchildren, there is nothing in the world that could make me as proud as I am of all of them.”
