Ketamine Queen was ‘carefree’ after Matthew Perry’s death

A friend of Jasveen Sangha, also known as the “Ketamine Queen of Los Angeles,” told the New York Post that she had “not the slightest worry” in the months after allegedly selling a fatal dose of ketamine to actor Matthew Perry's assistant. “If anything, she became more sociable in the last couple of months,” a friend of Sangha's told The Post, adding that “she seemed carefree.” Aside from being “always up for parties or dinners,” Sangha also reportedly “talked about getting a new dog.” “She put on a brave face considering what she was facing. She acted like it was no big deal,” the friend added. Sangha was arraigned on Thursday, one of five people charged in connection with Perry's death. Sangha is accused of supplying Erik Fleming, who worked as a go-between for Perry's personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, with 50 vials of the drug and a ketamine lollipop in October. Iwamasa is believed to have administered the lethal dose to Perry and at least 27 more within the five days before Perry's death. Sangha's attorney, Mark Geragos, told NewsNation's Chris Cuomo in an interview on Friday about Perry's death: “Just because it's a tragedy doesn't mean it's a crime.”
