Motorcyclist identified; hit and killed by vehicle in Superior

UPDATE (16 August, 14:10) – The Superior Police Department has identified the motorcyclist who was struck and killed by a car Monday morning.

The 33-year-old Superior resident is named Brandon Richard Larsen.

According to authorities, the driver of the vehicle was a 16-year-old. Speed ​​appears to have played a role in the accident.

SUPERIOR, Wisconsin – A 33-year-old motorcyclist from Superior was killed in a collision with a car Monday morning.

Superior police said the accident occurred around 4:50 a.m. on Stinson Avenue, just west of Hill Avenue. The motorcycle and vehicle were both traveling east on Stinson when the accident occurred.

According to police, the victim died at the scene.

The Wisconsin State Patrol was called to investigate and reconstruct the accident scene.

The juvenile driver of the vehicle was not injured.

“The names of those involved are not being disclosed at this time,” police said in a press release on Monday.
