Ariana Madix's brother Jeremy was arrested after being caught with over 100 pounds of marijuana

According to court documents obtained by Page Six Saturday, Ariana Madix's younger brother, Jeremy Madix, was arrested for carrying suitcases full of weed while attempting to fly out of Orlando International Airport.

The reality star, who appeared on his sister's hit show “Vanderpump Rules,” reportedly had a large, black soft Tumi suitcase and a large, black hard Briggs and Riley suitcase with him while traveling from Orlando, Florida, to Frankfurt Airport in Germany on February 16.

Before he boarded the plane, however, an agent searched the luggage of Jeremy and his buddy Jonah Ahad. According to the documents, it contained “a large quantity of a green, leaf-like substance in vacuum-sealed bags.”

The agent allegedly recognized that the substance was weed due to his “training and experience,” and on-site testing showed that it was, in fact, cannabis.

According to police, they found a total of 64 bags belonging to Jeremy, weighing a total of about 76 pounds.

His friend is said to have had 31 bags with a total weight of about 17 kilograms with him.

According to the documents, Jeremy and his friend refused to speak to investigators without the presence of an attorney.

According to TMZ, they were not immediately arrested, and an Orlando Police Department spokesperson did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for a statement.

However, Jeremy was eventually taken into custody at his home in Oceanside, California on July 10 and extradited to Florida.

A court document filed Wednesday shows that the bartender was still being held in jail without bail at the time and his lawyers were requesting his release. It is unclear if that has already happened.

Page Six reached out to Jeremy and his lawyers for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

The Bravo star was charged with illegal marijuana trafficking, which under Florida law can carry a prison sentence of up to 30 years and a fine of $200,000.

Jeremy's lawyers presented the court with several letters from close family and friends attesting to their client's “good character.”

Tanya Madix, the mother of Jeremy and Ariana, for example, praised her “wonderful, loving son” in her letter and added that he was a “kind” person who always looked out for her.

“Jeremy has built up a large circle of very good friends and a network of supportive acquaintances,” she added. “He is valued and respected by his peers. I am very proud of my son's achievements.”

What was striking was the absence of a letter for Jeremy's superstar sister, who was invited to the White House last year after her infidelity scandal with her ex Tom Sandoval attracted widespread media attention.

However, Jeremy revealed on the “Pump Rules” podcast in March that he and the “Love Island USA” host are no longer on speaking terms after he hugged 42-year-old Sandoval at a party.

However, in April he clarified to Us Weekly: “Why I haven't spoken to my sister and why I haven't spoken to Scandoval are two completely different things.

“I just want to make it clear that I have not spoken to my sister because I have to stand up for my fiancée.”

Jeremy then went into further detail, claiming that Ariana, 39, made “microaggressive gestures” toward his fiancée.

Then he thought, “I think we just kind of put it behind us, because of course I'm always going to look out for my sister. But I've been put in a position where I have to choose my sister, or do I choose the person I'm going to spend the rest of my life with?”

Page Six has reached out to Ariana's rep for comment on her brother's arrest but has not received a response.
