Man charged with murder after Hawaiian woman found dead in Washington state

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A suspect has been charged with murder after a Hawaii woman was found dead in Washington state.

According to court documents, 25-year-old Andy Chu is also charged with assault for groping a nurse in the hospital after the alleged murder.

Seattle police said they found the body of 26-year-old Zoey He at her boyfriend's home in Olympic Hills on Saturday.

According to court documents, 25-year-old Andy Chu said he remembered choking her, twisting her neck and holding her underwater in a bathtub.

According to the documents, he also told police that he put a white ball in the victim's mouth to “fix her jaw.”

According to court documents, the victim's autopsy revealed blunt force trauma to her face, head, neck, chest, arms and legs. The autopsy also found a large, heavy white ball lodged in her throat at the base of her tongue.

According to authorities, Chu eventually left the scene and did not return.

He is being held on $5 million bail.
