Blac Youngsta makes major breakthrough in Dallas gun trial

Blac Youngsta was arrested in Dallas in October 2020 after police found a gun in his car during a traffic stop. He was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Youngsta reportedly refused a pre-trial diversion program before prosecutors ultimately dropped the case.

The Memphis-born rapper was already a convicted felon at the time of his arrest, which prohibits him from possessing a firearm. According to TMZ, the judge dismissed his case, much to the relief of his attorney, Carl A. Moore, who praised prosecutors for the decision.

Blac Youngsta has been arrested multiple times for weapons possession. In May 2017, he was arrested in connection with a shooting involving Young Dolph in Charlotte, North Carolina. He turned himself in after warrants were issued for his arrest. He was charged with several counts, including discharging a weapon into an inhabited property and criminal conspiracy.
