Man arrested after exposing himself in Honey Moon Café

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Officials with the Evansville Police Department said a man was arrested Saturday afternoon after exposing himself at a local coffee shop.

According to an affidavit, police were called to the Honey Moon Cafe on South Weinbach Avenue because a man, later identified as George Greenwell, was touching himself in public.

When police arrived on the scene, they saw Greenwell crossing the street to get to a black vehicle. They were able to stop him before he could get in and question him.

There was already a report of someone touching themselves in the cafe on August 9. When police were shown the footage, they saw Greenwell touching himself in front of two teenagers.

According to police, Greenwell became very agitated when they began questioning him and said he wanted to stop by for coffee before going to the gym.

Greenwell was taken into custody and charged with public nuisance.
