Tottenham injury update: News and return dates for Richarlison, Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon

Tottenham will be hoping Richarlison is fit for the trip to Newcastle on Saturday.

The Brazilian striker missed the win against Nottingham Forest, but Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou gave a positive update on his possible imminent return.

The North Londoners' injury problems have largely subsided recently.

Only the triple long-term absence of Ryan Sessegnon, Fraser Forster and Manor Solomon remains as the final sprint begins.

Here is your latest update from Tottenham injury news and return dates…

Richardson

Ange Postecoglou confirmed before the Forest win that Richarlison had knee problems that meant the Brazilian could not play.

However, there is hope that he will be fit for the game against Newcastle.

“He has a slight pull in his knee, so we will probably give him this weekend off so he can fully overcome the problem,” said the manager.

“Hopefully he will be ready for Newcastle next week.”

Possible return date: 13 April against Newcastle

Salomon Mansion

Israeli winger Solomon's debut season at Spurs did not go according to plan after only six appearances.

He suffered a knee injury in December, underwent further surgery last month and is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Possible return date: Summer 2024

Ryan Sessegnon

Postecoglou confirmed last week that Sessegnon's season was likely over after he suffered a thigh injury for a second time.

The defender had just celebrated his comeback after a muscle operation in the summer when he missed a reserve game at the end of February.

Possible return date: Summer 2024

Fraser Forster

Tottenham are expected to be without Forster for the rest of the season after he broke a bone in his foot in February.
