Will you fight like a man?

I have heard that the average age at which boys are first exposed to Internet pornography is now about 8 years old. Eight years old. This alarming statistic is why some states are requiring major porn sites like PornHub to have age verification on their sites – which led to PornHub being shut down in those states, including Kentucky and 11 others. This is a good thing – making the evil of pornography harder to access protects children from being infected. But more is needed.

Pornography is nothing less than sexual immorality. And like anything that goes against God's plan, it harms the users; it harms the children who are exposed to it; and it harms the women, girls, men, and boys who are exploited and trafficked to produce it. And yet it can be highly addictive – even among Christian men. So what can men do to fight for purity and avoid the trap of lust and sexual immorality?

A few months ago I was asked by my friend “EZ” Zwayne of Living Waters to write the foreword for his new book. Fight Like a Man: A Bold, Biblical Battle Plan for Personal Purity. This book is really practical, very persuasive and, well, it starts with Genesis!
