The chase occurred around 6 p.m. when Deptford Township police pursued the stolen vehicle driven by Chrismon into Gloucester City, 6ABC reported. The stolen vehicle struck another car, which then crashed into a residence in the 500 block of Morris Street in Gloucester City. The house was “not in danger of collapse” after the crash, police said.

According to authorities, Chrismon fled on foot after the accident and was arrested by police. He was taken to the Camden County Jail, police said.

As a result of the accident, the 24-year-old driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries, police said. An 8-year-old and a 7-year-old passenger in that car suffered “serious injuries,” police said. All three were taken to hospital.
