Man arrested on suspicion of murder in nighttime shooting at Crown Hill Cemetery

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder after allegedly shooting a man during a late-night gathering at Crown Hill Cemetery, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

Wheat Ridge police responded to the cemetery at 7777 W. 29th Ave. around 11 p.m. Saturday on reports of a shooting and found a man with a gunshot wound and a woman with non-life-threatening injuries, the sheriff's office said in a news release.
