Prabhas: Prabhas made Tollywood famous worldwide: Chief Minister of Telangana

Hyderabad, Aug 18: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday said that actor Prabhas has brought fame to Telugu cinema on the world stage.

Speaking at a felicitation function organised by the Kshatriya Seva Samithi, the Prime Minister praised the Kshatriya community for its outstanding achievements in all fields.

The Chief Minister said Prabhas, who belonged to the same community, made Tollywood famous all over the world.

He said that Rajus have excelled in all fields due to their hard work and dedication.

“Krishnam Raju became a top actor. Now Baahubali Prabhas is calling the shots and competing with Hollywood,” said Revanth Reddy, referring to the masterpiece Baahubali starring Prabhas in the lead role.

Among the leaders who participated in the programme were Union Minister of State for Steel Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Varma and Karnataka Minister for Small Irrigation, Science and Technology NS Boseraju.

Revanth Reddy said Boseraju played an active role in bringing the Congress to power in Telangana.

He noted that although he did not get a nomination in the Karnataka assembly elections, he worked hard for his party's victory. He also mentioned that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had recognised Boseraju's hard work for the party and appointed him as a minister.

Boseraju and Srinivasa Varma are examples of how dedication and commitment are recognized, he said.

The Prime Minister asked the organisation to encourage those who want to enter politics. He assured the Samithi that he too would encourage those who want to enter politics.

Revanth Reddy said Srinivasa Raju was the advisor to the Telangana government on behalf of the Kshatriya community.

He asked the community members to communicate their problems to him through Srinivasa Raju.

He said that the state government had appointed Srini Raju as co-chairman of the Young India Skill University and that this reflected the faith it had in the Kshatriyas.

He said the government is committed to solving the problems of the people with the inspiration of Alluri Seetharamaraju and Kumaram Bheem.

“The Kshatriyas are also partners in the development of Hyderabad. They will definitely get credit for it,” he said, urging the community to invest in Future City and promising to support the government with all its might.

Revanth Reddy also assured the necessary land and support for the construction of Kshatriya Bhavan.
