JKPS Panjtirthi celebrates Independence Day – Statetimes

JAMMU: Panjtirthi of JK Public School (JKPS) celebrated the pride of being part of a nation which is eternal and incredible.
“May this spirit of freedom guide us all to success and glory in life. It makes my heart beat with pride to see the colours of Independence Day spreading happiness and great joy everywhere,” said Suman Banbah, Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, while addressing the audience at the Independence Day celebration at the JKPS Panjtirthi premises.
Wishing everyone a happy Independence Day, she added, “August 15 is not only an occasion to celebrate years of struggle, but also to celebrate the rich cultural and religious diversity, heritage, martyrs, freedom fighters and all that India is known for around the world.”
Her insightful words of wisdom showed the Jakiians how to discover the light within themselves.
The flag hoisting ceremony was performed by the school principal and Anju Jamwal.
Mamta Gupta and Raksha Thakur, who were in charge of the celebrations, highlighted the theme of the 78th Independence Day, namely ‘Viksit Bharat’ or ‘Developed India’. The theme is in line with the government’s vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.
The faces of the Jakiians reflected tremendous joy and love for the nation. The focus of the celebration was to awaken a sense of responsibility in our young generation towards the hard-won freedom. The voices of the participants were amplified by the power of the wonderful glory and the energy of freedom.
The Jakiians paid their respects to the nation by performing a short skit to pay tribute to our national heroes. The students were dressed as various famous freedom fighters.
The participants expressed their great gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, whose dreams we live today. The Jakiians presented energetic dance performances full of patriotism and enthusiasm.
Through various speeches, the children were enlightened about the history and meaning of freedom and independence. The celebration filled the whole atmosphere with festivity and patriotism. All eyes shone with glory and pride as they sang the eternal national anthem of India.
