Husband shoots his wife in a Scottsdale home, police say

A man shot his wife in Scottsdale An incident occurred on Saturday evening, police said. A young boy and another woman were in the house when it happened.

The shooting occurred on August 17 near 130th Street and Shea Boulevard around 6:30 p.m.

“Police responded to a home on reports of a shooting that had just occurred. Upon arrival, a female was found suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries,” Scottsdale police said.

The suspect, David Zhu, was arrested. The wife who was killed has not been identified.

According to police, a young man and woman were in the house when the shooting occurred, but they did not say how they knew the couple.

The department explains that this is an isolated case and that there is no danger to the public.

Zhu is listed as a professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at ASUs Website.
