The striking wedding went viral and in an interview with TUKO.co.ke About the viral spread of his work, Boen said:

“I'm happy about it. It gives me a platform to grow, build my brand and get more customers.”

Like any other service provider, Boen has a price list. When talking about how much he charges for weddings, he said:

“The cost is between KSh 150,000 and KSh 300,000. We charge a separate fee for logistics if travel to different locations is required.”

Why do couples go live during their wedding?

Unlike in the past, when couples hired a videographer to capture their wedding on camera and gave them a CD with a collection of memories from their big day, things are different today.

Boen said TUKO.co.ke that some clients ask to broadcast the wedding live on their favorite social networks.

“If some customers have guests online or family members and friends live in different locations and cannot come to the wedding, we offer live streaming. For live streaming services, we charge an additional fee on top of the original price,” he said.

Boen said emotional moments, like the groom crying as the bride walks down the aisle, are common and he is happy to witness such moments.

“It's a good feeling to be part of this event. When videos like this go viral, it gives you the satisfaction as a photographer that you've done a great job.”
