Wayne County man charged with sexually abusing minor relative – Finger Lakes Daily News

The investigation into an alleged sexual abuse incident in Wayne County has led to the arrest of a 22-year-old Williamson man.

It is alleged that Richard O'Neil Jr. had sexual contact with two different underage family members on multiple occasions two summers ago. He has been charged with sexual conduct and sexual assault, as well as five counts of sexual misconduct.

When deputies attempted to take O'Neil into custody, he resisted arrest, which resulted in him being charged with obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest.

O'Neil was released on a summons to appear in Williamson Municipal Court.
