Tragic video! 4-year-old falls off bike and is crushed to death by Tata Nexon car in Gujarat's Mehsana

Gujarat: A tragic incident occurred in the state of Gujarat: four-year-old girl Disha Patel died when she was run over by a Tata Nexon on the premises of the Sparsh Villa Society.

The incident was captured on CCTV footage and shows Patel cycling in the housing estate when she lost her balance and fell off her bike as the electric car approached. Before she could get up, she was run over by the vehicle and died on the spot. The driver immediately stopped and got out to check on the child.

The incident has left the victim's family shocked and struggling to cope with the sudden and tragic loss. Local police have reportedly launched an investigation and are closely studying the video footage to understand the sequence of events that led to the accident.

In a similar incident in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, a one-and-a-half-year-old girl named Rudrika was run over by an SUV in the parking lot of Cosmos Mall. This incident, too, which took place around 10 pm on August 6, was captured on video and widely shared on social media.

Accident captured on video surveillance

The footage shows the girl's parents becoming distracted while driving a shopping cart and accidentally leaving their two children unattended. The young girl, who was running in the parking lot, was struck by an SUV whose driver had not noticed her. Despite their screams, the parents initially seemed unaware of the accident until the mother rushed to the vehicle and pulled the child out from underneath.

The desperate family filed a complaint against the driver and launched a search to find the person responsible. The police have analyzed video footage from the shopping center parking lot to support their investigation.
