Two men charged with fatal road rage

GRAND HAVEN, MI (WGHN) – Two men were arraigned last week by the Honorable Judith Mulder in 58th District Court and booked into the Ottawa County Jail following an investigation into a road rage incident that resulted in the June 25 death of 27-year-old ShaTera Coleman of Grand Rapids.

The accident occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. in the area of ​​Lake Michigan Drive near Trillium Lane in Tallmadge Township. The investigation at the scene revealed that two eastbound vehicles collided, causing one of the vehicles to be thrown across the median. That vehicle then collided with a westbound vehicle.

Ethan Luke Oosterhouse, 23, of Middleville (Jeep Grand Cherokee), was charged with first-degree murder, manslaughter and reckless driving causing death.
Denis Noel Perez, 42, of Grand Rapids (Dodge Charger) was charged with first-degree murder, manslaughter and reckless driving causing death.

Both individuals were arraigned by the Honorable Judith Mulder in 58th District Court on August 16, 2024. Bail for both men was set at $250,000 cash/surety and both men remain in custody in the Ottawa County Jail.
