Until Dawn PC and PS5 reportedly available for £60

The upcoming Until Dawn remake for PC and PlayStation 5 will reportedly cost £60 at launch.

This comes from reliable leaker billbil-kun of Dealabs, who also said that a physical release of the PlayStation 5 is also planned.

All versions of the Until Dawn remake will cost £59.99 here in the UK, billbil-kun explained. That's €69.99 or $59.99 for the US.

In comparison, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, which released on PS5 earlier this year, costs £44.99.

At the time of writing, there was no mention of a £10 upgrade, as has been the case with other re-releases. Eurogamer has contacted Sony for more information.

Those interested in the PC and PS5 versions of Until Dawn can pre-order the game starting August 21. A PlayStation blog shared last week confirmed that a PSN account is required on PC.

Remaster studio Ballistic Moon promises that this beefed-up version of Until Dawn will offer players a “more atmospheric experience” when it releases this fall, thanks to a series of tweaks and adjustments, including changes to graphics, gameplay, story elements, and “more.”

Until Dawn is out on October 4 for PC and PlayStation 5. If you're still not sure if the game is for you, be sure to read Eurogamer's original review of Until Dawn from 2015, in which Dan Whitehead called it “strange, bloody and surprisingly moving.”
