Tragic accident in Texas, USA, claims five lives, including members of an Indian family

A tragic accident in Lampasas, Texas, left five people dead on Wednesday morning, including members of an Indian family. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the accident occurred on US Highway 281 when a Cadillac CTS blew a rear tire, causing a fatal collision with a Kia Telluride.

The accident resulted in the instant death of all five people involved. The victims were identified as Jacinto Gudino Duran (31) and a 23-year-old woman in the Cadillac, and Arvind Mani (45), Pradeepa Arvind (40) and their 17-year-old daughter Andril Arvind, who were traveling in the Kia. Authorities confirmed that the families of the dead have been notified.

The Arvind family was on their way to the University of Texas at Dallas to drop Andril off at their dorm where she was to begin studying computer science. Tragically, the family's 14-year-old son, Adiryan Arvind, was not with them at the time of the accident as he was staying home on his first day of ninth grade. He is now the only survivor of his family and is on a dependent visa.

In response to the tragedy, a fundraiser has been launched to support Adiryan, who is living without his family. The appeal highlights the need for community support to help Adiryan rebuild his life after the devastating loss. The family was on a routine trip from Austin to Dallas and was involved in the accident through no fault of their own, making the tragedy all the more heartbreaking. Any contribution is welcome to help Adiryan during this difficult time. Link to fundraiser:
