Police say two men were arrested for robbing an apartment complex on East Stoner Avenue in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, Louisiana (KSLA) – Two men are facing charges after police say they opened fire at a Shreveport apartment complex.

Shreveport Police officials say officers responded to several 911 calls on July 29 reporting shots fired at the Stone Vista Apartments on E Stoner Avenue. When officers arrived, they found three apartments with people inside and a car with one person inside struck by bullets. Fortunately, no one was injured, according to police.

CRIME IN THE ARKLATEX

After investigating the incident, police were able to arrest two people on August 18. Officers arrested Aaron Small and Demarcus Eiland. They were both found in the 1400 block of Hollywood Avenue.

Small and Eiland were charged with aggravated property damage.

According to police, the Real Time Crime Center played an important role in this investigation.

The investigation is ongoing, police say, and they expect more arrests in this case in the coming days.
