Police: Identity of Bridgeport man in fatal shooting revealed

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport police have released the name of the 45-year-old local man who was shot and killed Wednesday at the Greene Homes condominium on Highland Avenue.

Pablo Morales was found unconscious in the hallway of the fifth floor of Building 4 of the complex at around 10:15 p.m. He was lying down and appeared to have succumbed to his fatal injuries, which paramedics confirmed upon their arrival.

According to police, Morales was shot several times.

“Next of kin have been notified,” Bridgeport Police Captain Kevin Gilleran wrote in a statement. “The police department's thoughts and prayers continue to be with the victim's family and friends.”

The case is currently under investigation and police are asking anyone with information about the crime to contact Detective Thomas Harper at 203-581-5239.
