FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) – Fort Lauderdale police have identified one of the victims of last weekend’s shooting in Fort Lauderdale that left one person dead and three others hospitalized.

The deceased victim was identified as 18-year-old Marion Harrison.

Police said the identities of the other victims are not being released and that two of the surviving victims are still in the hospital. The surviving victims are in their 20s.

The shooting occurred around 5:05 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Cypress Creek Road.

On Monday, emergency calls made during the shooting were also released, showing witnesses and the victims themselves calling for help.

“I'm on Cypress Creek Road and I just heard some shots fired,” said a male caller.

“I was just walking by and heard gunshots and then there were people in the car,” one caller said, as screams could be heard in the background. “They were shot.”

The victims in the car also called the police.

“There was a shooting. There was a shooting,” said one of the victims.

“Where?” asked the dispatcher.

“Let me out. Get me out. I don't know where we are, but we just got shot. Come on, get me out. My leg,” the victim said.

When officers quickly arrived on the scene, they found three men with gunshot wounds in the bullet-riddled black Honda Civic.

“Sir, I was shot,” said one of the victims.

“Yes, sir. You have to tell me exactly what happened,” said the 911 operator.

“My leg!” said one of the victims, screaming in pain.

All victims were taken to hospital. Harrison did not survive.

“When you leave the house, you never know if you're ever going to come back. You don't usually think about it,” said the resident who spoke to 7News after the shooting. “It's pretty dangerous here sometimes, so you have to be careful.”

The shooter fled and is still at large.

The police are still investigating as the background to the shooting is still unclear.
