A Rangers fan accused of rearranging a drum before a match against St Johnstone has been banned from attending the Glasgow club's games. Arran Watt, 22, is alleged to have committed the offence outside Hampden Park in Glasgow on August 17, 2024.

The Gers later faced the Perth side in a game which the hosts won 2-0.

Court records show that Watt, of Irvine in North Ayrshire, came into possession of a drum which he fraudulently obtained through assault and robbery.

Watt also faces a separate charge of conducting himself disorderly on Letherby Drive.

It is alleged that he was part of a rioting crowd, ran through the crowd and fled from police officers.

According to the allegations, Watt struggled with officers, refused to cooperate with them despite being legally required to do so, and disturbed the public peace.

Watt entered no admission to either charge at a private hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court and was represented by his lawyer Declan O'Keefe.

Watt, who appeared from custody, was referred for further investigation and released on bail by Sheriff Paul Reid.

As part of his bail conditions, the sheriff ordered that Watt not come within 150 yards of the stadium where the Rangers play regular soccer games on game day.

His next court date has yet to be set.
