“Reservoir Dogs” actor Michael Madsen arrested for domestic violence

Reservoir Dogs And Kill Bill Actor Michael Madsen was arrested in Malibu for domestic violence before being released from prison.

An August 18 Los Angeles Sheriff's Department arrest report said 66-year-old Michael Soren Madsen was booked into the Malibu/Lost Hills Station at 1:40 a.m. after being arrested 25 minutes earlier on domestic violence charges.

A representative for the Malibu/Lost Hills Station said in a separate statement: The Hollywood Reporter On August 18, at 12:15 a.m., officers arrived at 31600 Broad Beach Road in Malibu to respond to a report of “family dispute.”

“The informant stated that an adult female claimed that her husband had pushed her and locked her out of their apartment,” the police statement continued. After an initial investigation, “officers determined that Michael Madsen was involved in a domestic incident with his wife,” and he was arrested soon after.

“The investigation is ongoing and will be forwarded to the Van Nuys Superior Court House for filing,” the Malibu/Lost Hills Station statement continued.

Madsen was released on $20,000 bail after posting bond. No information was given on a future court date. The domestic violence charge is brought when there is an allegation that violence was used against a roommate.

If convicted of domestic violence, the punishment can range from prison to a restraining order.

Madsen, a veteran actor with over 200 films to his name, is tainted with the tough guy stereotype. He is best known for his role as the devilish Mr. Blonde in Reservoir Dogs – The wonderful world of dogs. Madsen also played Budd, the sword-wielding chaos maker in Kill Bill Volumes 1 And 2.

Madsen has appeared in a number of Tarantino films, most recently in 2019's The Last Jedi.
