WEDNESDAY 13 will perform at Famous Monsters Fest in September 2024

“NYC, NJ, PA. I'm heading to the Famous Monsters Festival this September on FRIDAY THE 13TH, 14TH and 15TH,” reads the post on Wednesday the 13th.

“I will be there ALL 3 days to sign and sell Wednesday 13th merchandise. There will be a photo opportunity with me in full stage attire and makeup on Saturday and Sunday. Come by and say HELLO.”

Famous Monsters Fest will take place September 13-15, 2024 at Valley Forge Casino Resort, 1160 1st Avenue in King Of Prussia, PA. Tickets and more information can be found here.

In other news, Wednesday 13 has announced a UK tour to celebrate 20 years of Murderdolls, his legendary former band with Joey Jordison. Wednesday and his current solo band – which also includes former Murderdolls musician Jack Tankersley – will play a full set of Murderdolls songs, selected from their acclaimed 2002 debut album Beyond The Valley Of The Murderdolls and their triumphant 2010 comeback, Women And Children Last.

Wednesday explains: “21 years after the release and the sad and untimely passing of Joey, it just feels right to celebrate these songs. We made two amazing albums that I was very proud of and unfortunately much of the world didn't get the chance to hear the songs live. In 2018 we all met at Joey's house and discussed ideas and possibilities for the future, but we both had other plans.

After a fantastic tour of the US playing these songs, we will now continue the tour in October/November where the band began, in the UK. We will play tracks from both Murderdolls albums and celebrate the band's legacy. We will be joined by Sweden's rock'n'roll saviours Hardcore Superstar on some of the UK dates. We can't wait to bring this tour to the UK later this year.”

Amidst a 2002 music landscape of baggy pants, backwards caps and tracksuits, Murderdolls rose up, a metallic glam-punk band that bucked the prevailing trends and brought back hard, fast rock 'n' roll. They dug up the corpse of rock and breathed new, undead, unadulterated life into it. And glorious it was! Beyond The Valley Of The Murderdolls and its follow-up Women And Children Last were like nothing else – fast and dirty, raw and macabre. With their lyrical stylings drawn from the classic macabre, each track is full of perfectly executed, tongue-in-cheek horror. Led by the “Duke Of Spook” Wednesday 13 and the late, great Joey Jordison, Murderdolls soared to the horrific heights of rock, gathering an enormous cult following in the process.

With their sinister, sneering vocals, massive hooks, choral chants, pounding rhythms and some of the catchiest riffs ever, Murderdolls have written their songs for arenas and performed in theaters, making their adrenaline-fueled odes to the darkness that much more thrilling.
