Steve Kerr mocked Donald Trump by cheering for Steph Curry at the DNC

Steve Kerr, coach of the Golden State Warriors, has never made a secret of his progressive political views and decided on Monday evening to fully commit to this position.

The longtime NBA coach made a memorable appearance on the first night of the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago to support the Kamala Harris/Tim Walz presidential candidacy.

In his speech, Kerr mocked the idea that former President Donald Trump lost the November election and had his Warriors superstar Steph Curry celebrate in classic style.

Towards the end of his speech, Kerr joked: “To paraphrase the great Steph Curry, we can say goodnight to Donald Trump!”

He repeated Curry's famous “Good night!” announcement to opposing teams when they are on the verge of defeat.
