Justin Timberlake plays it safe, starts a new chapter and stays out of trouble

Justin Timberlake seems to have turned a new leaf since his DUI arrest in Sag Harbor, New York, in June. Instead of going to the bar, cry Me A River The singer seems to have found new hobbies to pass the time between concerts.

During his last night off between concerts, Justin Timberlake kept a low profile and seemed to avoid any nightspots that could cause him further problems. In the past, Justin and his pals loved to head to popular restaurants and clubs after a show to have a few drinks and relax. Since his arrest, however, Timberlake has been on his best behavior in an effort to redeem himself in court and with his wife Jessica Biel.

Jessica has probably been keeping an even closer eye on her husband lately. Before Justin's DUI arrest, the two were reportedly already having marital problems. However, Justin's legal troubles have likely put even more strain on their marriage.

To keep Jessica happy and appease the courts, Justin and their friends hosted an innocent-looking ping pong tournament. The singer uploaded the video to his Instagram, showing off his simple, fun evening.

Jessica Biel has reportedly laid out some new ground rules for Justin Timberlake. It was reported that Jessica was angry with her husband after his arrest. She was embarrassed by her husband's behavior and laid the rules out on him. Sources close to Jessica claim that this could be the last straw for Jessica. If Justin disappoints her again, she could end their marriage for good.

Of course, some of Justin's followers feel like he's walking on eggshells until his legal issues are resolved. According to his attorney, Edward Burke Jr., his next court date is September 13. Justin Timberlake's attorney insists his client was not drunk and should not have been arrested.

“The most important fact to know about this case is that Justin was not drunk and should not have been arrested for drunk driving,” Burke said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“The police made a number of serious errors in this case. In court today you heard the prosecutor try to correct one of those errors. But this is just one of many others. Sometimes the police make mistakes and this is just one of those cases.”

It remains a mystery whether Justin Timberlake's transformation is real or just a facade for the court. Only time will tell if the singer's public appearance is a serious attempt to reform and save his turbulent marriage.
