Man dies after tragic accident at Ballykeeffe quarry in Kilkenny

A man in his sixties died in an accident at Ballykeeffe quarry on Sunday afternoon.

Gardaí were informed of an incident in Ballykeeffe, County Kilkenny and a man in his 60s was pronounced dead. His body was taken to the mortuary at Waterford University Hospital.

A file is being prepared for the investigative court.

The Gardaí are treating the incident as a tragic accident.
