British teenager falls from an Ibiza hotel in a ‘tragic accident’ while on holiday in San Antonio and dies

A British tourist fell from the sixth floor of a hotel in Ibiza and died.

The 19-year-old was declared dead at the scene of the accident; he had fallen “by accident”.

The tragedy occurred around 3 a.m. on Tuesday morning in a 4-star, adults-only hotel called Hotel Vibra District, located right on the seafront in the party resort of San Antonio.

Paramedics rushed to the scene of the accident, but were unable to save the holidaymaker due to the severity of her injuries.

The Guardia Civil's investigations are ongoing and an autopsy is still pending.

A police spokesman said: “I can confirm that a 19-year-old British tourist has died following a fall in a hotel in San Antonio, Ibiza.”

A well-informed police source added: “Everything indicates that this was a tragic accidental fall.”

On Saturday morning, a 28-year-old British holidaymaker died after a night of heavy drinking when he fell from a height of five metres in a hotel in Palmanova near Magaluf on Mallorca.

The dead man's partner had to be treated for a panic attack later that day.

The incident occurred at the four-star Reverence Mare Hotel in Palmanova.

The alarm was raised at around 7 a.m. on Saturday morning, although the holidaymaker had probably fallen to his death several hours earlier.

Guardia Civil investigators believe he suffered his fatal accident when he tried to enter the wrong hotel after a night of drinking and got lost while trying to take a shortcut.
