Stevenson's next opponent revealed: Will he fight Gervonta Davis?

Shakur Stevenson is back in the boxing sceneThe talented 27-year-old boxer from Newark has been waiting for an opponent for several weeks defeated Artem Harutyunyan on points in July and he finally finished his next fight.

One of the sport’s greatest talents, Gervonta Davis, was among the favorites to face Stevenson next, as both men are considered two of the best fighters in boxing right now.

Stevenson had long demanded a mega fight with the hard-hitting Davis, but tank I had previously been 'busy' with other names. The rumors intensified when the Baltimore star defeated Frank Martin in Junea fight that Gervonta won by knockout in the eighth round.

The fight was officially declared after Stevenson signed a one-fight contract with Eddie Hearn. Therefore, he will face Matchroom fighter Cordina, who lost his IBF super featherweight title last May to Anthony Cacace by KO in the eighth round.

Stevenson signed a one-fight contract with Matchroom because he plans to fight Davis in 2025 when he will be a free agent again and can negotiate with tank.
