Anthony Edwards reveals Steph Curry was drug tested after Olympic victory – NBC Sports Bay Area & California

Steph Curry's legendary performance to close the 2024 Paris Olympics was so impressive that the Warriors superstar immediately underwent a doping test after the US team's unforgettable 98-97 win over France earlier this month.

During a seminar at Fanatics Fest, Durant and Edwards sat down in the “boardroom” to talk and describe their strange experiences after the Americans’ clear victory, in which all three NBA stars were subjected to doping tests.

“After the gold medal, he and I [Durant] “We had a, what do you call it? A drug test,” Edwards said. “We couldn't really celebrate in the locker room because me, him and Steph had to do a drug test or something on us.”

Curry overwhelmed France with four 3-pointers in the final three minutes of regulation time, sealing the US national team's claim to the gold medal and securing his own Olympic immortality.

Curry's epic Olympic finale was preceded by an incredible 36-point performance against Serbia that kept the Americans' gold medal dreams alive. The star point guard's legendary back-to-back performances were so impressive that they apparently warranted a drug test.

The unexpected drug tests are a memory that Curry, Durant and Edwards can look back on with a laugh for the rest of their lives.
