GARDINER MAN ARRESTED, CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE SEX CRIMES – KQEN News Radio

A Gardiner man was arrested and is in prison for multiple sex crimes.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office stated that officers were called to a disturbance in the 70000 block of Highway 101 in Gardiner around 10 a.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, officers determined that no crimes were committed during the disturbance.

As officers prepared to leave, they learned that a juvenile had previously reported to an adult that he had been the victim of a sexual assault by 36-year-old Eric Thomas Cumming. Cumming is known to the victim.

Officers began an investigation and found probable cause to arrest Cummings. He was charged with ten counts of first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sexual abuse. Cumming is being held on $1 million bail.
