Professional cyclist from the Emirates dies in tragic road accident – News

Emirati cyclist Muzna Abdulla Ali died in a road accident after being hit by a car in Dubai.
She was killed while training with her team Al Wathba in preparation for the NAS tournament scheduled to take place this Ramadan.
The incident occurred in the Meydan district of Nad Al Shiba.
Dubai Transport Authority told Khaleej Times that the driver who caused the accident has been arrested by police and investigations into the tragic incident are ongoing.
Witnesses reported to the traffic police that they were hit from behind by a speeding car. The driver crossed the yellow line and hit Ali.
The Al Wathba cycling team received condolences from the cyclist's family on its social media accounts and on Instagram.
She had participated in and won numerous local tournaments.
