Cause of death of TikToker Kyle Marisa Roth announced

Gossip influencer Kyle Marisa Roth's sister shares family news after her death at 36

New details have emerged about Kyle Marisa Roth's sudden death.

Nearly five months after the TikToker known for her blind item gossip content died at age 36, her autopsy determined she died of natural causes, Maryland's chief medical examiner confirmed to E! News on August 20. Meanwhile, the cause of death was determined to be cardiac arrhythmia due to myocardial fibrosis, according to the medical examiner.

The condition is an irregular heartbeat caused by scarring of the heart muscle, or a form of heart disease, according to the National Library of Medicine.

In addition, TMZ reported, citing Kyle's toxicology test results, that she tested positive for diphenhydramine (Benadryl) and the painkiller mitragynine at the time of her death.

Kyle's sister Lindsay Roth first confirmed her death to her fans on social media in April, citing confusion within the family regarding the cause of death.

“As a family, we are still trying to decide how to appropriately celebrate and honor her life,” she wrote in an Instagram post on April 15. “We don't know [what] hasn’t happened yet.”
