Two Rivers Police: Elijah Vue case remains a priority

Two Rivers Police say the Elijah Vue case is still on their minds.

This is the latest update from Captain Andrew Raatz, as the department says it has been six months since the three-year-old toddler went missing on February 20.

Raatz says the department continues to pursue leads and clues with the support of our partners at the local, state and federal levels.

Over the past few months, we have conducted additional searches on land, at sea and in the air with the help of private search and rescue groups.

Rumors continue to circulate on the Internet and there are repeated reports about the discovery of Elijah, but these are also false.

Raatz also says that fake “Go Fund Me” or similar pages have been set up that are fake.

The captain concludes, “We believe it is important for the public to know that while we have resumed normal operations in our community over the past few months, such as relief efforts, community events and the like, the search for Elijah and the investigation are ongoing and remain our priority.”

A reward is still being offered for anyone who can provide information about Elijah's disappearance, including leading to the arrest and conviction of a person.
