Trial scheduled in quadruple murder case

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – The trial of a suspect in connection with a quadruple homicide case that began in Dunn County in 2021 has been set for today.

According to court documents, the trial of 59-year-old Darren Osborne is scheduled to begin on October 28.

Osborne pleaded not guilty to all four counts of being an accomplice to concealing a body, and documents say he wants a speedy trial.

Osborne is charged in connection with the deaths of Jasmine Sturm, Matthew Pettus, Nitosha Flug-Presley and Loyace Foreman III.

The victims were shot in St. Paul, Minnesota. Their bodies were found in an SUV in a cornfield in the city of Sheridan in northern Dunn County on September 12, 2021.

The other suspect in the case, 41-year-old Antoine Suggs, turned himself in on September 17, 2021 in Gilbert, Arizona. Suggs is Osborne's son.

According to the criminal complaint, investigators believe Suggs killed the four victims between 3:30 and 3:48 a.m. on September 12 in the Seventh Street area of ​​St. Paul before taking them to Wisconsin.
