Hallmark star Mamie Laverock after tragic fall from balcony

Actress Mamie Laverock recently fell five stories from a hospital balcony in Canada. The accident three months ago left her with very serious injuries and she was temporarily on life support. Now, however, 20-year-old Mamie is making great progress and has reportedly returned home.

Maybe she had luck on her side that helped her survive, and it seems like she is a determined young woman with a great support network by her side.

Her fans were understandably concerned. We're happy to give you an update on Mamie's recovery process!

She is recovering in a truly miraculous way

A post on Mamie's Facebook page is dated Aug. 18 and is captioned, “Dreams come true. Welcome home, Mamie.” There are photos of a colorful cake in a festive outdoor setting. A sign with Mamie's picture in another snap says “Home Sweet Home” and is decorated with hearts.

Mamie's fans are thrilled with her

Many of them left happy messages for Mamie on Facebook. One wrote: “This is so incredible! It makes my heart so happy.” I'm still praying.” Another said: “I'm glad she can be home and continue to pray for her recovery.” A third wrote: “It must be wonderful to be home again!”

One post read: “She is still badly injured but we will be taking care of her privately. She needed to be home. We are so happy for her. She made it this far… next chapter. It is a blessing to have her home.”

After such a traumatic experience, it must be encouraging for Mamie to hear so many caring thoughts about her well-being and continued recovery.

Mamie's situation was already bad

She had “life-threatening injuries”

As you can imagine, Mamie was seriously injured by the fall from such a great height. Her parents wrote: “She has suffered life-threatening injuries, has had to undergo several extensive surgeries and is currently on a ventilator.” However, Mamie bravely fought back and is now on the road to recovery.

Her story is a tribute to courage, perseverance and the healing power of love. We wish Mamie all the best as she reaches one positive milestone after another on her road to recovery.
