Man charged with killing 82-year-old family member

A San Bernardino County man was charged with murder Tuesday in connection with the death of an 82-year-old family member at a Gardena store.

Donte Harris, 43, of Victorville, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of Le Roy Harris of Inglewood, Gardena police said.

According to a statement from Gardena Police, police were called to a business in the 1500 block of West 130th Street, east of South Western Avenue, at 9:15 a.m. Saturday for a report of a person screaming.
