Former Louisburg restaurant worker charged with excessive tips and credit card theft

LOUISBURG, Kansas (KCTV) – Police are looking for a person who visited a popular Louisburg restaurant.

Louisburg Police are investigating a case involving a former employee of the Timbercreek Bar and Grill.

Investigators are asking anyone who visited the restaurant between July 31 and August 16 and used a credit or debit card to check their bank statements and card history, warning that it could be an illegal charge.

The department said the former employee is accused of inflating tips. In some cases, the person also copied card information and used it at other stores.

Anyone who notices irregular charges on their bills is asked to call the Louisburg Police Department at 913-837-3191 and file a report.
