Multiple suspects arrested in Harrison County after North Carolina ATM robbery, sheriff says

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) – Three suspects wanted out of North Carolina were arrested in Harrison County after robbing an ATM in Greensboro, North Carolina, according to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office.

On Monday, August 19, the Harrison County Sheriff's Office arrested three suspects and charged them with conspiracy, grand larceny and safecracking:

  • Alecia Bailey, 23, of Spring, Texas
  • Braxton Hayes, 24, of El Dorado, Texas
  • Christopher Walker-Aycock, 34, of Houston, Texas

According to Sheriff Matt Haley, a sergeant with the Criminal Interdiction Patrol Division, with assistance from the U.S. Border Patrol, stopped a vehicle in Harrison County believed to be driven by three suspects who robbed an ATM in Greensboro, North Carolina, earlier that day.

During the traffic stop, over $30,000 was seized. The money is believed to be connected to the ATM robbery in Greensboro.

All three suspects were arrested and remain at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center until they are returned to North Carolina.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Office is working with the FBI to return the money to its original location.
