Police search for suspect after break-in at daycare center

JONESBORO, Arkansas (KAIT) – Police are searching for a suspect after a local daycare was broken into and several items were stolen.

According to a Jonesboro Police incident report, officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Stone Street shortly after noon on Monday, August 19, for a burglary at Kidabilities.

Upon arrival, police spoke with the facility's manager, who said when two employees arrived, they noticed a window was missing from the building and several items had been stolen, including an iMac computer, an Apple keyboard, a DeWalt drill, a metronome, two security cameras and an Amazon Fire TV stick.

During an inspection, the police also discovered that several rooms had been “ransacked.”
