Employer reveals identity of woman found dead in Minneapolis fire

The identity of a woman who died in a fire in Minneapolis last week has been released by her employer.

Debbie Allen was identified by her employer, the New Richmond senior living facility, as one of two people killed in the fire on 11th Avenue South near East 15th Street in the Elliot Park neighborhood on Tuesday, August 13.

According to her employer, Allen was a full-time cook at the senior living facility in Wisconsin.

The identity of the man found dead has not yet been released.

A day after the fire, fire officials said three people – two adults and a child – were being treated for burns and another adult for smoke inhalation. All four victims were in serious but stable condition, they said.

A day later, the fire department conducted another search and found a dead elderly man.

Later that day, firefighters said they found a second victim, later identified as Allen, lying dead on the fourth floor under the rubble of the roof collapse.
