Calendar of upcoming new music releases

2023 could see major releases from artists like Taylor Swift (Taylor's versions of Speak Now And 1989), Drake (For all dogs and his Scary hours Edition), Bad Bunny (Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana), Nicki Minaj (Pink Friday 2), Morgan Wallen (One thing at a time) and many others, but 2024 also promises to be a strong year.

Planned releases include Dua Lipa’s Radical optimismand more from Lenny Kravitz to Sheryl Crow and many others. This includes the three-volume collaboration between Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) and Ty Dolla $ign vulture.

And who can forget some of the biggest album announcements of this year, including Swift's big reveal? The pop superstar announced her eleventh studio set, The “Tortured Poets” sectionwhile accepting the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for midnight — her lucky Grammy No. 13, at that! — would be released on April 19. But she wasn't the only superstar using a big stage to announce a new project. Beyoncé announced new music was coming during her Verizon Super Bowl 2024 commercial, then made her album announcement and dropped two singles in a matter of minutes. Cowboy Carter finally celebrated its big debut on March 29th.

Although projects are announced, they are sometimes delayed for various reasons (Ye and Tys Vulture Volumes 2 and 3for example, although Vulture 2 finally came out on August 3rd, long after the expected March release), or even announced just days before, so it can be difficult to keep track of when artists' albums are coming out. To make it easier for fans, we've put together this release calendar so the biggest and most anticipated releases aren't missed as release dates come and go.

The list is organized chronologically by month and week and includes genres from pop, hip-hop, rock, K-pop, Latin, country, and more. Read on to see our ongoing calendar of the most important album releases in 2024.
