Tragic collision in Uttar Pradesh: Four family members killed in road accident

In a tragic accident on Wednesday in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, a truck collided with a car, resulting in the death of four members of a family and injuries to two others. The victims were on their way from Delhi to Hamirpur when the collision occurred. Dr Shyam Mohan of the emergency department of the district hospital told ANI, “A truck collided with a car under the jurisdiction of Ikdil police station in Etawah. Four members of the same family lost their lives and two others were injured in the accident. They were on their way from Delhi to Hamirpur.”

The bodies of the deceased have been shifted to the hospital, where they are awaiting postmortem. Police have reached the spot and are continuing to investigate the incident. Among the injured are a child named Rathi and a woman named Poonam, both of whom are undergoing treatment at the hospital. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and directed the district administration to expedite relief efforts at the site. He also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
