Demand for freedom and dignity | Residents of Al-Suwaydaa stage a sit-in in Al-Karama Square

Al-Suwaydaa Province: Dozens of residents staged a sit-in in Al-Karama Square to demand freedom and dignity. The protest included a minute's silence to commemorate the death of the young man from Al-Suwaydaa who participated in the movement and was killed there early this morning.

Men and women took part in the protests, holding banners reading: “We will fight together against your uprising,” “Those who destroy their own country cannot condemn terrorism,” “The revolution continues,” and “We love Syria.”

Yesterday, residents of Al-Suwaidaa city renewed their protest at Al-Karamah Square in Al-Suwaidaa city center, calling for a peaceful political transition in Syria and the implementation of UN Resolution No. 2254.
The demonstrators held up signs with slogans reading: “We will continue,” “Dignity or humiliation is not something a person inherits, it is something he creates,” “Al-Assad and Al-Julani are two sides of the same coin.”
