Montco man sentenced to prison in election fraud case for voting three times: Federal authorities

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A local man who registered to vote in three counties as part of a voter fraud scheme faces at least several years in prison if convicted, federal officials said.

Philip C. Pulley, 62, of Huntingdon Valley, was charged with voter fraud, false voter registration, double voting and related offenses.

Pulley faces up to five years in prison.

Pulley, who was registered to vote at his home in Montgomery County, was also registered to vote in Broward County, Florida, in 2018, according to authorities.

Then in 2020, he added a third voter registration in Philadelphia District, the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said. He used a false home address and a false Social Security number to register in Philly.

In 2020, Pulley cast a total of three votes, and in 2022 he cast two votes, in Philadelphia and Montgomery counties, federal officials said.

He faces a maximum of three to five years in prison, three years probation and a fine of up to $250,000.

The investigation was led by the FBI and the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office. A trial date will be set in the near future.
